PROJECT OC

A truly bespoke design for a unique client.

This project started life as a standard new build, blank canvas but now exudes individuality to match its client. The client wanted to inject some much needed character into the space to match her personality (something the existing neutral colour palette did anything but) so we did just that. Each room, although different in function, work together seamlessly as I have used the same colour palette and unique elements throughout the house. As you will see from the images below, I have used a dark colour palette and added further detail with textures, accessories and finishes. The client had a few existing pieces including a cow hide chair and mahogany chest of drawers which after repositioning within the house, were given a new lease of life.

When taking on a new build it can be very exciting for a family, couple or an individual, however, for so many people they are met with a somewhat soulless blank canvas. I hope this shows they don’t all have to conform to the normal. Character, style and individuality can be injected into any space.
